Campaign Launch Event

Awareness Raising Events

06 awareness raising events were conducted in the target districts - namely Sialkot, Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan. In these events, textile workers, professionals and other stakeholders like labour officers participated.

The key objectives of the awareness raising events were:

  • To effectively communicate and disseminate information about the campaign's resources, including animation videos, best practices videos, song, posters, brochures, and resource guides, among the textile workers and key stakeholders in the targeted districts.

  • To enhance the knowledge and awareness of ergonomics and heat stress-related health and safety risks among participants. This includes providing orientation and training on how to utilize the campaign products effectively to create a healthier and safer workplace

Campaign Closing Event

CIWCE in collaboration with GIZ Pakistan hosted the closing ceremony of SBCC campaign on ergonomics & heat stress on 31st August 2023 at Ramada Hotel Lahore. The event was attended by representatives of labor associations, the textile industry, academia, civil society & media. Chief Guest of the ceremony, Mr Fasial Farid, Secretary, Labour & Human Resource Department, Govt of Punjab, expressed his appreciation for the campaign's products developed to raise awareness on ergonomics and heat stress.

Theatre Performances

Theater production was an integral component of a broader social and behavior change communication campaign. The theater performance was organized in the target districts, featuring characters such as Billu, Dhillo, Rani, and others. The 40-minute play effectively conveyed messages about ergonomics and heat stress in an engaging and entertaining manner
